Our Story

Friends of Young Arbury Music Makers, affectionately known as YAMM,

started in September 1980 to provide affordable music tuition for local children.

We strive to provide positive & engaging musical experiences not only through weekly individual tuition but also ensemble playing in our winter & summer concerts.

​

In 1982 we became a registered charity (No. 282840) and

we are run by our generous volunteers.
